Couple Arrested for Sex on the Sidewalk in Endicott

An amorous encounter, apparently fueled by alcohol, will mean an appearance in Town of Union Court for two 33 year olds.

Melissa Bailey of Owego and Zachary Vanderburg of Johnson City admitted to a Broome County Sheriff's Deputy that they had oral sex on the sidewalk in front of the Visions Federal Credit Union on McKinley Avenue in Endicott while traffic was passing by.

The pair told the deputy they had shared a bottle of vodka and were trying to walk to the North Street Motor Lodge before they engaged in their public tryst.

Each is charged with public lewdness with the intent to be seen.
