One of the area's best-known musical groups played their final concert September 26 at the Endicott Performing Arts Center (EPAC) in Endicott.  Cobblestone Crossing performed at hundreds of venues and events all around the area over the past 15 years. They featured a number of folk sings and favorites from the '50's and '60's.

The group was formed by Darrell(Douglas) Varley and his wife Janet.  They featured a number of other members over the years including Lou Ligouri and Steve Rowell who joined them onstage Saturday evening.

Varley is a veteran radio broadcaster and has owned his own production company, Douglas Media Productions in addition to performing with Cobblestone Crossing. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, he plays a number of instruments including the guitar, banjo and fiddle. He and his wife Janet plan on moving to the Nashville area in a few weeks.
