Christmas Eve Binghamton Home Invasion Suspects Arrested

Binghamton police say three Binghamton residents are accused of breaking into an elderly woman’s home Christmas Eve while the woman was in the residence.

36 year old Bryan Crowningshield, 37 year old Ariana Edwards and 25 year old Christopher Peterson are accused of stealing a large screen television from the home.

The suspects were tracked down by a police K9 unit and taken into custody at a house on Mather Street.

All are charged with burglary.

Police say the victim called them when she was awakened by someone gaining entry to her home.  She apparently was not hurt in the incident.

Police again urge residents to make sure their doors, windows and vehicles are always locked.
