Chenango County Officials Look for Owners of Stolen Items

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials are looking for people who had things stolen out of their vehicles in the past month.

Two teens are accused of stealing items from several vehicles in the Smithville area.

Sheriff’s officials say 18 year olds Rebel Whitman and Jonathan Pomeroy are being charged with petit larceny and conspiracy.

Officials say the stolen property has been recovered but not claimed.

Anyone missing electronic items dating back from November 6th is asked to contact Deputy Messina at (607) 337-1932.
