A Chenango County man is accused of growing marijuana at his home.

Officials say 48 year old James Kelsey Junior of the Town of  Lincklaen was arrested October 10 for felony criminal possession of marijuana and unlawfully growing cannabis.

Sheriff’s officials say detectives responding to Millers Corners road saw the plants growing in plain view on Kelsey’s property.

Officials say in addition to the plants growing on the property, they found about a pound of processed marijuana in the home.

Kelsey has been ordered to appear in Town of Lincklaen Court at a later date.
