Chenango County Drug Raid Targets Heroin Sales

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say a no knock search warrant executed January 5 at a home on County Road 32 in the Town of Norwich has turned up heroin, packaging materials and drug paraphernalia.

37 year old Ward Lozier and 25 year old Nichole Perrino were at the center of the investigation.  They are charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal nuisance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Lozier is also charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.

In addition, 27 year old Daryl Woodbeck of Norwich was found at the home & charged with loitering.

Perrino was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $5,000 bail while Lozier was sent to jail on $10,000 bail.

The Sheriff’s office used its new K9 team for the first time in the raid.
