Sea Dogs Face B-Mets

The Binghamton Mets homestand continues when they host the Portland Sea Dogs at NYSEG Stadium.  May 26 the Akron RubberDucks rolled to a 6-1 victory over the B-Mets.

Coming into the latest contest, the B-Mets have a record of 24-20 while the Sea Dogs are 19-26

Binghamton Mets Power Past Akron

The Binghamton Mets got off to a good start last night in the first of their seven-game homestand as they defeated the Akron RubberDucks 3-2.  Jayce Boyd slammed a home run over the left field wall in the sixth inning and that proved to be the difference.

Hall of Fame Classic Celebrates Baseball In Cooperstown

Cooperstown and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum are celebrating Memorial Day Weekend with their Hall of Fame Classic Weekend.  Featured is the Seventh Annual Hall of Fame Classic which is set for Saturday at 2:05 PM at Doubleday Field.

The Classic features Hall of Fame members like Rollie Fingers, Phil Niekro, Tom Glavine, Tony Perez, Ozzie Smith and Robin Yount who will act as managers and coaches while retired players representing all 30 Major League teams will participate in the game.

Binghamton Mets Bring It Home

The Binghamton Mets begin a seven-game homestand tonight at NYSEG Stadium when they host the Akron RubberDucks .  The B-Mets return home after dropping two out of three games in Harrisburg.

The B-Mets send\t right-hander Michael Fulmer to the mound against another right-hander, Will Roberts.  Fulmer is 1-0 while Roberts is 2-1.  In Fulmer's last start he gave up three runs in six innings of work and did not factor in the decision.  Roberts has no-decisions in his last four outings.
