The Binghamton Bearcats women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to the Hartford Hawks at the Bearcats Sports Complex this (Thursday) afternoon.  With the win Hartford moves to 4-1-0 in America East and 7-5-1 overall.  Binghamton falls to 2-3-1 in America East competition and 8-5-2 overall.

The lone goal in the game came from the Hawks'midfielder Sierra Stone.  It proved to the Hartford's only shot taken in the first half. The Bearcats outshot the Hawks 10-2 in the match.  Binghamton now has lost three consecutive outings.

The Bearcats don't play again until they travel to UMass Lowell on Sunday, October 27.  Binghamton then returns to the Bearcats Sports Complex on Thursday, October 31 to host the UMBC Retrievers to finish the regular season.  Binghamton remains in the playoff hunt in the conference.
