The Binghamton Bearcats battled back time after time thoughout the game to tie it at 6-6 through seven innings.  That set the stage for Jessica Rutherford's lead-off walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth to give Binghamton a 7-6 victory.  The Bearcats advance to another 11:00 AM scheduled starting time tomorrow (Friday) against the Maine Black Bears.

Rutherford had a big day with three runs driven in on a 2-5 day at the plate. Binghamton trailed for much of the game erasing deficits of 3-0, 5-2 and 6-5 before Rutherford's heroics.

Section 4 alumni had a big hand in BU's victory.  Rutherford is from Horseheads.  Pitcher Cara Martin came in to relieve starting pitcher Sarah Miller after she had given up five runs.  Martin from Windsor High School earned the win for the Bearcats.
