Bomb Threat Clears Court and Government Buildings

New York Courts Police are investigating a bomb threat that was phoned in to the Broome County Court and Department of Probation shortly before 10 a.m. November 4.

The threat resulted in the Courthouse being cleared but was expanded to include evacuation of Binghamton City Hall, the Broome County Office Building and the State Office Building.

Binghamton Police assisted in the search and no device was found.

City Police say everyone was returning to the buildings in about an hour.

There were no injuries.
