Binghamton Zoo Ready To Open For Season

The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is preparing to welcome spring visitors.

The zoo on Morgan Road on the city’s South Side plans to be open for the next two weekends. The gates for the facility’s 139th season will open Saturday at 10 a.m.

The zoo’s weekend hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with tickets available until 3 p.m.

This year’s grand opening is scheduled for April 19. After that, the zoo will be open seven days a week with regular hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
