Binghamton Woman Charged with Drug Possession

A 24-year-old Binghamton woman was accused of possessing illegal drugs after she was stopped for speeding on Route 17 in Tioga County.

Authorities say Jessica Hujack was arrested Sunday afternoon following the traffic stop in the town of Owego.

According to New York State Police, the vehicle Hujack was driving was clocked at 83 mph in a 65 mph zone.

Investigators say when the vehicle was stopped, a trooper detected an odor of marijuana. Hujack was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and two capsules of amphetamine.

Hujack was ordered to appear in Owego town court on November 14.
