A Binghamton teenis accused of helping a friend cause thousands of dollars in damage to a parked vehicle in Johnson City.

Authorities say 19 year old Dasia Durham was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, in connection with the October 18 incident.

Detectives say a vehicle parked on North Broad Street sustained heavy damage. Police were called just before 4:30 in the morning to investigate a report of a disturbance.

The vehicle's taillights were smashed, its side mirrors were damaged and its paint was scratched in several places.

Investigators say the vehicle is owned by a former boyfriend of the other woman. Police say the second suspect was previously charged in the case.
