Binghamton Robbery Attempt

At 12:47 PM Sunday Binghamton police responded to the West Side Mini Mart, 96 West Main Street for a report of an attempted robbery with a knife.  Officers were told that a white male had entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money from the clerk.  The suspect did not receive any money and fled the scene.

As the police investigation continued officers were led to a Mather Street address where officers located a suspect.  He is identified as 31 year-old Bradley Miles of Binghamton.  Miles was taken into custody and charged with Attempted Robbery 1st. Police urge anyone with information pertaining to the case to contact them at 772-7080.
