Binghamton Police Investigating South Side Homicide

The death of a Binghamton man is being investigated by city police as a homicide.

Authorities say the body of 44-year-old Bretnie Owens was found in his apartment at 11 Stone Street.

Police and fire medics were called to the South Side building at 11:20 Saturday morning.

Detectives say an autopsy was conducted but they have not released the cause of death.
