Binghamton Police: Deaths May Have Been Murder-Suicide
Binghamton police believe a North Side man killed a 46-year-old woman in their residence before he was found dead.
City police were called to 124 Liberty Street Thursday afternoon by a relative of Rosaura Soto-Lally.
Police chief Joseph Zikuski said when officers arrived, they found the body of 55-year-old Ramon Feliciano, along with the body of Soto-Lally.
Zikuski said investigators believe Feliciano killed Soto-Lally using a sharp object.
The police chief said Soto-Lally may have been killed days before the bodies were discovered.
Detectives are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths. They were treating the case as a possible murder-suicide.
Autopsies are to be performed in Onondaga County.
Zikuski said police had been called to the home previously to investigate domestic disputes.
