A Binghamton man, who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the shooting death of a Syracuse man last year, is to spend 25 years in prison.

43 year old Michael Walker was sentenced in Syracuse in the death of 71 year old David Stiner, had been sitting in his truck in a convenience store parking lot on August 16 of last year waiting for a friend when Walker and 42 year old Elijah Mitchell of New York City attempted to rob him.

Prosecutors say Mitchell was the trigger man.

He has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for murder.
