Binghamton Man Accused Of Stealing Television

A Binghamton man has been arrested in connection with the burglary of a downtown apartment.

Authorities say 51-year-old Barry Allen is accused of taking a television from an apartment at 260 Washington Street. The burglary occurred last week.

Police say Allen was charged with second-degree burglary. He was arrested Wednesday.

Detectives say the stolen property was recovered.

Allen was arraigned in Binghamton City Court and sent to Broome County Jail.
