Code Enforcement Officers in the City of Binghamton more busy than ever.

August 17, the City launched its latest crack down on code violations with a concentration on the North Side.

Inspectors have been looking at everything from tall grass and weeds to dangerous conditions and eyesore issues at both vacant and occupied structures.

Last year, the City conducted eight sweeps throughout several neighborhoods.

City officials say the majority of the time code issues are resolved without the need for legal action.
