Binghamton Bearcats Open America East Tournament

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team opened up the America East Tournament at when they hosted the Maine Black Bears at the Events Center.  Maine shared the America East regular season championship with the Albany Great Danes and enters the post-season as the top seed in the conference tournament.

Maine won both regular season meetings with the Bearcats and finished with a 14-2 record.  Binghamton was 2-14 in conference play. The Bearcats and Black Bears are the first contest of the America East post-season tournament.
