The Binghamton Bearcats men's and women's basketball teams are in action tonight. The men are in Vermont to face the Catamounts while the women host Vermont at 7 PM at the Events Center.
The women are coming off of a close call in Boston on Saturday dropping a 57-52 decision to the Terriers, the top team in America East. The men fell 83-59 to the Terriers also in Boston on Saturday.
Tonight's match-up with the Catamounts will be another tough test for the men. Vermont has a commanding 19-7 edge in the overall series and has won four of the last five meetings between the two teams. Vermont has a conference record of 3-1 while the Bearcats are 0-4 in America East competition. The Catamounts are especially tough to beat at Patrick Gymnasium compiling a 49-13 slate on their home court over the past four seasons.

Binghamton will be looking for big games from its top two players, Jordan Reed and Jimmy Gray, both averaging in double figures. Reed also paces America East averaging just under 10 rebounds per game. Tonight's women's game will be carried on 1360 AM WYOS with airtime at 650. The Bearcats' men will be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF and wnbf.com beginning at 650 PM as well.
