Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say they are charging a Queens man with felony drug possession with intent to sell and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Deputies say on the evening of September 29 they executed a search warrant in Sidney following a five month heroin trafficking investigation and arrested 31 year old Sean Dingle.  Authorities say they seized 100 bags of heroin they accused Dingle of intending to sell from his vehicle at the state Department of Environmental Conservation fishing access lot on River Road in Sidney.

Officials say the investigation was conducted by members of the Delaware County Office of Criminal Investigation Division, Village of Sidney Police, Delaware County Probation Department and the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force with the effort focusing on heroin trafficking in and from the City of Binghamton to the Town and Village of Sidney.

Dingle was sent to the Delaware County Jail without bail.
