A long time educator and supporter of theater is being remembered for the impact he had on hundreds, if not thousands of students.

Former Broome Community College Theater Director, Angelo Zuccolo died May 15 at the age of 72.

Zuccolo worked at BCC for 30 years before retiring in 2001, directing hundreds of stage and media productions.

Contributions can be made to the Angelo Zuccolo Scholarship for Exellence at the Broome Community College Foundation.

BCC officials say Angelo had said that in lieu of flowers, he would want family and friends to celebrate his life with dinner at their favorite Italian restaurant in the company of someone special, someone lonely or someone in need.
