Bearcats Look for Pay Back

Last week at the Bearcats Sports Complex the Albany Great Danes defeated the Binghhamton Bearcats 3-1 to destroy BU's hope for a regular season America East men's soccer championship.

The Bearcats hope for revenge as they travel to Albany to meet the Great Danes in a conference semi-final playoff game.

The regular season title gave Albany a first round bye while the Bearcats had to travel to Stony Brook Saturday night where they knocked out the Seawolves in double overtime 3-2.  Pascal Trappe scored the game winning tally with five minutes to go in the second overtime.

The Bearcats and Great Danes have met twice before in the America East semifinal round.  Both meetings were in Albany and the Bearcats won both.  Binghamton wins came in those meetings in 2004 and 2008.
