Athens Man’s Body Found in Alley

Pennsylvania State Police in Bradford County, near the New York border, are investigating the discovery of a body in a narrow alley between a tavern and auto repair shop in Sayre May 10th.

Investigators say the body of 37 year old Michael Lane Junior of Athens was found at around 5:30 a.m. off North Lehigh Avenue between the Lehigh Tavern and Davenport's Garage.

A tenant of an apartment located above the tavern noticed the body in the alley.

The cause of Lane's death is still under investigation.
