An Unusual Sight On A Johnson City Street

Some folks visiting the carousel at the CFJ Park in Johnson City Friday evening may have done a double take when they glanced across the street.

Was that really a pig on a metal cart?

Turns out, it was.

The 450-pound hog was spotted outside Red's Kettle Inn on CFJ Boulevard. The restaurant was preparing to hold its second annual pig roast.

Jan Sobiech of Red's Kettle Inn says the event was held Saturday afternoon. Last year's pig roast took place on a Sunday.
