Adoptable Grehound Moves Into Johnson City

We really can't say Sammi is a retired racing dog since she broke her right rear leg before she ever made it to the track. Her leg is all healed and she rarely favors it. Her right hind leg, though, looks bowed.

Sammi is about two years old and very friendly.  She's just settling in to her new foster home, so she's been a little nervious and fussed through her first night. She'll settle down in a couple days.

This super-soft brindle girl is an unusual shade of almost strawberry blonde under in black stripes.

She's been cat-checked and appears to want to play with them if they run by and jump onto the furniture but seems afraid of them if they confront her.

People can meet Sammi next April 14th from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at Creature Comforts in the Northgate Plaza on Upper Front Street in the Town of Chenango.
