Binghamton Police are looking into why a pickup truck ended up on the lawn of the Main Street Baptist Church on July 26.

Emergency Services personnel, including Binghamton Fire were called to the church at Main and Chestnut Streets at 5:26 a.m. with the report of the truck on the property, leaking fuel and an injury.

The driver was not seriously hurt and managed to get out of the vehicle without assistance.

Officials reported property damage to the church but the pickup truck did not, apparently crash into the structure.

The truck had to be towed from the scene.
