A take a book, leave a book little library is open at Cheri Lindsey Park in Binghamton.

Binghamton University students and Broome-Tioga BOCES carpentry students along with community organizations like the Binghamton Rotary Club worked to construct the Little Free Library at the North Side park.

The physical structures were installed by the City’s Parks and Recreation Department.

The Little Free Library is a national initiative aimed at fostering a lover of reading and literacy through the creation of small, free-standing structures where books can be taken, free of charge, on an honor basis.
