A woman from Indiana County, Pennsylvania, east of Pittsburgh, is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a Bradford County man’s bank account.

State Police say 26 year old Karen Henry of Blairsville is accused of creating a Western Union account using a 26 year old Rome man’s name and bank information then making 16 money transfers from the victim’s account to a location in Indiana County where she or a relative allegedly retrieved the money.

Authorities say $2,975 was taken.

Henry is charged with felony counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and identity theft. She was released after posting $10,000 bail.
