Woman Hurt In Cortland County Motorcycle Crash

A motorcyclist was injured when she was thrown from a bike after it struck a guide rail on Route 41 in the town of Willet.

Authorities say Sheila Plew lost control of a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle shortly before noon Sunday.

Investigators say Plew sustained arm and other injuries. She was taken to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City for treatment.

Officials say Route 41 near Penelope Road was closed after the crash for the investigation.
