Woman Accused of DWI With Child in Car

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say a Truxton woman is accused of driving drunk with a six year old child in her vehicle.

38 year old Victoria Preston was arrested after authorities investigated an invalid report of a possible order of protection violation but found her allegedly intoxicated with the child in the car at 7:37 p.m. October 31.

Officials say Preston posted a blood alcohol content of .08% or higher.

She is charged with felony driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction, felony driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher, and felony aggravated DWI with a child in the car as well as misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

She was ordered to appear in Town of Homer Court at a later date.
