November is one of the best months of sports on the calendar, with football, NHL, the World Cup, and of course, basketball back on the docket.

While many fans and bettors do not start to look at NCAA Basketball until after the new year, there are plenty of games this month and before the holidays to see which teams might be worth backing to win the 2023 national championship.

Of course, Kansas came back and stunned eighth-seeded UNC to win the title in April, but the Tarheels have always found a way to back up the crushing disappointment of the year before with a run to the title the following season.

Will Franklin Street be dancing again in April? Will the fans backing Gonzaga finally get to cash? Or will there be another name to run the gauntlet and win a title?

North Carolina, +1100: the Tarheels were sooooo close to winning the title last year, but blew a 15-point lead in the final and lost by three to Kansas. The last two times ultra-talented teams got heartbroken at the Final Four (2008 and 2016), North Carolina came back the next year and won the title. In 2017, UNC beat Gonzaga: will we see a rematch?

Kansas, +1100: the defending national champions will be getting some love from bettors, but will have to do it all over again this year in a tough Big 12. It is very hard to go back-to-back: the last team to do so, Florida in 2006 and 2007, was filled with future NBA stars.

Kentucky, +1100: speaking of future NBA stars, the Wildcats are always filled up and down the roster with some of the best talent in Division 1. This season will be no different, but it is hard to win with Freshman now, with some of the better teams filled with upperclassmen.

Houston, +1100: the Cougars will once again be there at the end of the season, and made the Final Four in 2021. But can they finally break through and win the title? It is very hard to do, just ask Gonzaga.

Arkansas, +1600: going to throw the Razorbacks in here because they made a run to the Elite Eight last season, and will be tough to defeat in the SEC.
