What do you perceive as something good or great? I guess it's all a personal thing. things you may take for granted or not a big deal can be the complete opposite for someone else.

I've had friends and co-workers who were born and raised in the Greater Binghamton area, who say there's nothing good about this area or they may have just wanted to live in another area of the country that may have more to offer than the Triple Cities does.

If that's what makes them happy, so be it. No judgment here. But wasn't born or grew up in the Binghamton area. I great up in the country and small towns in Western New York. To have access to what the Binghamton area offers versus where I grew up is like day and night.

So, I appreciate what our community has to offer. And the Greater Binghamton area is known for a lot of amazing things. The many choices of restaurants, entertainment, sports, leisure are by far more than anything I had access to in my teen and early 20s years before moving to Binghamton.

Sure, there will always be those who complain, no matter what, that the Greater Binghamton has very little to offer. But for me and many others, that is simply not true. So, here are some of the things I love about our communities and what the Greater Binghamton area is most known for.
