West Side Binghamton Restaurant Possible COVID Exposure Site

The Broome County Health Department is advising anyone who was at “The Beef Restaurant & Pub” on Leroy Street in Binghamton between 5 and 10 p.m. on September 5 to self-quarantine until September 20.  A person who was at the West Side restaurant at that time has tested positive for COVID-19.

Broome County reported four additional cases of the coronavirus September 8 for a total of1,265. There have been 80 deaths. 

Chenango County reported five additional cases between September 5 and 8 for a total of 235 and seven deaths. Cortland County had three new cases for a total of 104 and one death while Delaware County reports the total cases unchanged at 114 and 6 fatalities. 

Meanwhile, the Delaware County Health Department says it is seeking information from all gyms and fitness-related businesses in the County to assist them with any questions they still have regarding reopening under state guidelines.
