West Side Binghamton Home Invasion Reported

City of Binghamton Police are offering few details about a report of someone breaking into a home on the West Side while someone was in the house February 27.

The report of a possible home invasion on Thorpe Street near Charles Street came in at around noon and word was spread through online and residential security alert networks.

Authorities have not commented on whether there were any weapons involved or if anything was taken.

The person inside the home apparently was not injured.
