Broome County officials say the Greater Binghamton Airshow program scheduled for Sunday afternoon will not take place due to inclement weather.

According to Mark Heefner, Greater Binghamton Airport director, the low ceiling and low visibility prompted the decision to cancel the second day of the weekend event.

In a statement released by the county, Heefner said people who purchased tickets for Sunday may obtain refunds. Those patrons should check the email address used to book the tickets.

More information will be available on the social media platforms for the airshow and the Greater Binghamton Airport.
