Weather Channel Provides Live Snow Updates from Binghamton
A national correspondent for the Weather Channel has been reporting live from downtown Binghamton on the late-winter storm that's dumping several inches of snow on the region.
Justin Michaels has been working for the Weather Channel for the past two years. He started providing live shots from the Court Street roundabout around 9 a.m. Friday.
The massive snowstorm affecting much of the northeastern United States received plenty of coverage, along with a powerful storm that was slamming California.
Michaels did several live shots from Binghamton during the morning and afternoon. He took a brief lunch break at a small shop a few steps away shortly after a noon report.
The Weather Channel crew had spent the night in Pennsylvania. They were expecting to spend Friday night in Binghamton but it hadn't been determined where they would be sent on Saturday.
