Vestal “Ross Dress for Less” Store Opening Its Doors
A national apparel and home fashion chain is about to open its first store in the Binghamton area.
The Ross Dress for Less location in the Parkway Plaza in Vestal will hold its soft opening on Friday.
The store is operated by the California-based Ross Stores. There now are more than 1,800 Ross Dress for Less locations in 43 states.
The 22,500-square-foot Vestal store occupies a portion of what originally had been a Circuit City electronics store. The space later was home to a Price Rite grocery store. It also was used for a short time as a Dick's Sporting Goods outlet store.
Three new retailers have moved into the Parkway Plaza shopping center over the past year or so. A Boot Barn store opened next to the Ross store last March and a Joann Fabric and Crafts opened nearby in May 2023.
Ross Stores has not returned calls seeking comment on its new location in Vestal.
