Vestal Prostitution Sting Results in Four Arrests

Three Broome County women and an Ithaca man are being charged in connection  with a Prostitution Sting.

Vestal Police and the New York State Police Special Investigations Unit conducted the detail in the Town of Vestal October 3.

38 year old Heather Delany of Port Crane, 22 year old Shannon Gent of Endicott and 25 year old Ashley Shoop of Binghamton were charged with prostitution.

34 Year old Aung Soe of Ithaca was charged with patronizing a prostitute.

Vestal Police say the sting was initiated as a result of information gathered from websites and social media associated with and/or used for prostitution activity.
