United Way Announces Resignation of Director, Selection of New Director

The Broome County United Way’s Executive Director has resigned and the charity already  is introducing the new Executive Director.

Jacqueline Gerchman has stepped aside to pursue other opportunities according to a statement from the United Way.

The United Way’s new director is LoriAnne Welch who has served on the Campaign Cabinet, Board of Directors and Director of Operations and Development.

Welch says she looks “forward to leading the United Way toward and even stronger role in addressing the key issues facing our community in the areas of health, education and financial stability.”
