Union-Endicott to Hold School Budget Workshop

The Union-Endicott School District is holding another budget workshop event this week.

The workshop has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday in the boardroom at the district office building at 1100 East Main Street in Endicott.

School superintendent Suzanne McLeod is expected to make a presentation that will include the current state of the district's budget process. Some potential spending reductions or additions may be identified.

Union-Endicott and other school districts across New York will have to adjust their planned spending after officials learn how much state aid they'll receive in the next fiscal year.

A final Union-Endicott budget workshop is to be held on April 15. State school district spending plans will be presented to voters in May.
