Uncontained Cattle Damage Property in Delaware County
A Delaware County man is in trouble for letting the cows come home to someone else’s property.
Sheriff’s officials say 60-year-old Joseph Wyble Junior is charged with criminal mischief for allegedly allowing his cattle to get loose and damage a neighbor’s property in the Town of Kortright.
Deputies say the report on September 16 that marauding cattle were causing damage to property on Betty Brook Road was not the first complaint.
Investigators say the property owner had their lawn damaged at least three other times by uncontained cows.
Wyble’s is accused of recklessly causing more than $250 in damages after having been previously warned by Deputies to keep his cattle contained.
He’s been ordered to appear in Town of Kortright Court at a later date.
