On Thursday, February 12, 2026, UHS held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Pediatrics location.

The location is at 1290 Upper Front Street, Binghamton, in the former Staples storefront, next to the Weis Market. The practice was previously located on Chenango Bridge Road in Binghamton.

UHS Pediatrics, which began serving patients on February 2nd, has joined the UHS Primary Care, UHS Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, and UHS Lab Services at that same location. Those services began serving patients on December 15, 2025.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, UHS President John M. Carrig and UHS Medical Group President Frank Eder, MD, spoke about the services and advantages of the new location.

UHS representatives note that the new facility offers a more modern look, with improved operational efficiency, and enhances the patient experience.
