Two Reported in Shooting Incident on West Side

Binghamton Police are investigating reports of shots fired in a West Side neighborhood August 4.

The shooting was reported in the area of Schiller Street between Haendel and Schubert Streets at around 5 p.m.

Two people were apparently injured in the incident.

Binghamton Police early August 5 reported no one in custody and had no further information about the injuries. But earlier reports had indicated they were not believed to be life-threatening.
