Two People Stabbed in Downtown Binghamton Building
Binghamton detectives are investigating a stabbing incident that left two people injured.
The attack at 127 Susquehanna Street was reported shortly after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Initial reports indicated the assault occurred on the second-floor of the three-story brick apartment house.
Those who were injured were taken from the rear of the building to two Superior ambulances. They were transported to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City.
There was no immediate indication whether police had taken any suspects into custody.
In May 2017, a man and a woman were injured at the apartment house when they were struck in the head with baseball bats.
The building where Tuesday's stabbings occurred is on Susquehanna Street near Tudor Street. It's east of the Yellow Deli store, where several violent incidents have occurred in recent years.
