Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say two men are facing charges after Deputies stopped to check on a group of people in the parking lot of a store in Virgil at 2:15 a.m. December 9..

Officials say 34 year old James Driscoll of Syracuse and 32 year old Christopher Springer of Baldwinsville were arrested at the Virgil Country Market when officers found Driscoll had been driving with a revoked license with a total of 36 suspensions and he and Springer had Suboxone in their possession.

Officials say Driscoll is charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation, criminal possession of a controlled substance and a lesser charge of unlicensed operation as well as overload on tires, overload on axles and overload weight on certain trailers.

Driscoll is being held in the Cortland County Jail without bail.

Springer is charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and was ordered to appear in Town of Virgil Court later this month.
