State police say troopers found a stun gun and marijuana when they checked on a parked vehicle in northern Broome County.

Authorities say 23-year-old Stephen Jensen of Richford and 17-year-old Rachel Sessions of Whitney Point were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Sessions also faces a charge of criminal possession of a weapon.

Investigators say Jensen and Sessions were arrested around 12:40 this morning.

Troopers approached an occupied vehicle that was parked with its headlights on at the end of Mill Street in the town of Triangle.

Police say marijuana was seen on the dashboard. They say Sessions was found to be in possession of an illegal stun gun.

Jensen and Sessions were ordered to appear in Triangle town court on February 4.
