Road conditions are being cited as contributing to a crash that closed a portion of Nanticoke Road at Route 26 in the Town of Maine February 13.

A fuel oil truck overturned shortly after 9:30 a.m. and closed the road until around noon as crews worked to right the vehicle and move it from the scene.  The driver was not hurt.

Authorities say the driver of the Blueox Energy truck was delivering propane to a home and the truck tipped over as he was backing into the driveway.

There were no hazardous spills reported.

Fire crews from West Corners, Endicott and Union Center responded to the scene along with Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies.
