A busy intersection in the town of Dickinson near Otsiningo Park will be closed for 24 hours due to construction work.

According to the New York State Department of Transportation, the intersection at Front and Bevier streets was shut down early Wednesday morning. It is scheduled to be out of service until 6 a.m. Thursday.

The closure will affect access to Broome County's Otsiningo Park. People will not be able to enter the park from Front Street. The only access will be via Bevier Street from Chenango Street to the east.
